Preparing to Ship - Please Read!
almost 3 years ago – Thu, Jun 10, 2021 at 12:30:46 AM

Hello everyone!

Magic & Shit has shipped from the printer and is on its way to the Exalted Funeral east coast warehouse in Maryland. There are a few things to remember and consider in the next few weeks as orders roll out:

  • There are still about 10% of you that have not filled out the Backerkit survey. This is important because it is the only way that the good folks at EF can get your rewards to you. If you haven't filled out that survey, now is the time to do it.
  • Add-ons for all of our past products are available in the pre-order store and can be combined with your order for cheaper shipping. You can find the pre-order store here -  https://magic-and-shit-weird-fantasy-for-your-osr-rpgs.backerkit.com/hosted_preorders
  • Shipping will go out in waves once the zine has arrived at the warehouse.
  • Tracking is available upon request via Exalted Funeral.
  • Addresses will LOCK on Monday, 14 June 2021, so make sure to fill out those Backerkit surveys. It really is the only way that we can stay organized and get your rewards out to you. If you need to change your address, you can do that on Backerkit as well.

If anyone has any questions or concerns, please reach out to me personally and I will get you squared away as fast as possible. Thanks again for backing this project!

Horns up!

Physical Proofs, Surveys, Add-Ons... and Something Wicked This Way Comes!
almost 3 years ago – Wed, May 19, 2021 at 10:56:50 PM

Hello everyone!

Here's a quick update while we wait for your physical copies to go through the printing queue.

  • Surveys are going out today via Backerkit, so keep your eyes peeled for those. This is where you can verify your address, pay shipping and add-on additional cool stuff. Fulfillment is done by our friends at Exalted Funeral, so its crucial you get those surveys filled out so they can get your rewards to you on time.
  • The Pre-Order Store is open on the project page, so if your friends and fellow heshers missed out, this is a great way for them to get a copy in the fastest way possible.
  • Press proofs have arrived and they look suh-weeeeeeeet! Really happy with the way that these came out and I'm feeling pretty confident that you're going to dig 'em.
  • The last Backer-Only Update contained the link to your PDFs, so make sure to check it out if you haven't already. Again, we're pretty stoked with how it came out! Big ups to our graphic design guru Tracey Steele for all the hard work she put into this thing to make it looks so damn cool.
  • Finally, we're gearing up to launch our next Kickstarter and its a good one, especially if you're a Dungeon Crawl Classics player. Next Tuesday - May 25th - we'll be kickstarting a full-conversion to the DCC ruleset for our very first module Jungle Tomb of the Mummy Bride. Its got a new cover, tons of new art, spells, patrons, magical items and even a whole new "lost level", beautifully illustrated by a host of great artists. You can see the pre-launch page here -  Jungle Tomb of the Mummy Bride Compatible with Dungeon Crawl Classics - just hit the "notify me on launch" button to give us a boost and get a heads up when we go live!
