Funding for the Magic & Shit zine ended yesterday at over 10K. You crazy MFers did it!
So, where do we go from here?
First, I start off by polishing up the text and adding a few new things since we funded far beyond what we figured we'd do. I'll order several new pieces of art for that as well. After that, it gets the ole punch-up treatment and I run the rough text by a few other trusted writers so they can give their two cents in the design department. We follow that up by handing it over to our editor so his discerning eye can give it the five-times-over. Then it goes to our graphic designer, who takes all of that writing and art and makes it look amazing. She'll shoot it back to me, where we'll finalize it and make sure it's on point, ready to get the PDF treatment. Once we have a PDF, that immediately goes out to everyone. Then comes the printing process, shipping to our fulfillment team and then you get this zine into your mitts for good!
Again, I can't thank everyone enough. All the support means the world to a small company like ours and this ended up being not only our most successful zine to date, but our second most successful project ever (behind Escape from Skullcano Island). So, thanks from the bottom of our cold, blackened hearts - irons up!

I feel like its my birthday over here with all the love this zine is getting! We’re well over 8K now as we head into the last three days of the campaign. A huge thanks for all the videos, shares and retweets. You guys raaaaaaaaawk!

i know I said no stretch goals, but I’ve gone ahead and added 4 new magical items to the mix just because you guys have got me so stoked on this. Dare you unleash the powers of the Strangleguts Sash? What doom is visited upon those who wield Sobek’s Tooth? You’ll just have to read the zine to find out!

I’m blown away by the support that this zine has gotten on its first day. You guys turned out, told your friends and made it happen. Funded in 6 minutes (dare I say... 6.66 minutes for those Maiden fans out there??!) and closing in on 600% funded as I write this. Man... you guys raaaaaaawk!
From the bottom of my cold black heart, thank you so much for supporting this project. We’re on course to maybe even fatten this bad boy up and order some extra art, so lets do this!
